Reactivity Support Package

Package Description

Session 1 will allow me to gather information on history and underlying reasons and detail so I can better tailor the plan accordingly to your dog to give you both the best support, along with offering initial support until I can see you face-to-face. We will then work on adding in focus behaviours without any stressful stimuli and work on engagement and handling, then we can progress gradually using my dummy dog Maud (stuffed toy), who elicits a similar but low-level reaction to normal (or human based low level triggers), allowing us to work safely and successfully, before we work around real dogs at a safe and successful distance. The first face-to-face session will be at the training room and we can assess from there where to hold the next one, either there or in public. The package comes with write-ups to refer back to in-between our sessions to help you along while I am not there, along with phone access to me out of hours if you get stuck or have a difficult situation arise and need talking through it. In addition, there is access to discounted enrichment bundle buys to help boost their emotional well-being overall & to better support them as a whole. 1. Phone Consultation (£45) Write up with information and processes discussed 45mins to 1 hour 2. 4x One-to-one’s (£200) At either the training room then out in the environment 1 - Free Work – to help the dog find their base level, to show us what they find meaningful to learn from to allow us to better support them through their journey, to provide a starting point. 2 - Handling techniques & engagement, and Free Work and introduction of novel dog smells & Maud in a safe and positive environment 3 - Working around dogs/people at a successful distance in public location 4 - Working around dogs/people at a successful distance in a public location 3. Write Up’s & Vet/Para-Professional Contact (£50) Breakdowns after session with what we went through, techniques used, and any other additional information needed Vet referral & contact with other supporting para-professionals 4. Contact (£10) Able to contact me via phone/messages with questions, support, updates when normally out of hours 5. Access to 5% off enrichment bundle buys 6. Access to my Reactivity Support Group on Facebook A facebook group where those enrolled on support package can come together and share stories, enrichment ideas, connect, and reduce the feelings of isolation that can come with having a reactive dog
