Supporting people with their dogs is a deep passion of mine. I'm dedicated to helping dog owners like you build meaningful and fun relationships with their four-legged friends. Through the good times and the tough ones, I’m here for it all.

With years of experience and a deep understanding of canine behaviour, I have the expertise to guide you and your dog towards meeting your goals and leading a fulfilled life together.

Why this is the only job for me

I’ve always been fascinated by the unique bond between humans and dogs. As I got older and the curiousity was still burning, I completed a degree in BSc (Hons) Animal Behaviour & Welfare before getting my first dogs (Laylah - a Staffy x Lab & Zeeba - an American Bulldog) as an adult. They gave me the drive to continue on this path and develop my training to be able to help you in the way that I do.

Carrying with a me a deep understanding of what it is like to support a dog with complex behavioural needs and struggles.

After years of expanding my knowledge through learning from internationally reknowned people within in the industry while becoming accredited and registered with top covering bodies, I now dedicate myself to this work.

I believe that every dog and owner deserve a non-judgemental, understanding, compassionate and empowering space to learn in to gain the skills for a fulfilled life together through all it’s stages.

My GSD has just completed Ellie's reactivity support package . Prior to the 4 sessions, my GSD was hypervigilant and not listening to me which was exacerbated by seeing other dogs and people out on a walk . After only the 4 sessions there has been a huge positive change in my GSD's behaviour when out on walks . Ellie’s Social Walks are fantastic for dogs who find the world challenging. My dog, Nellie, gets to walk near to dogs that she might otherwise react to. Ellie does a great job of making sure that everyone understands each dog’s needs, organising the dogs, managing the distance between them, and then flexibly adjusting as the walk evolves. Ellie’s observations, insights and encouragement are absolutely brilliant and really make a big difference. Highly recommended!

My terrier puppy and I have done a number of types of learning with Eleanor Rose Dog Training in different environments, they’ve all been both enjoyable and successful in my opinion. I’d highly recommend. Despite having springs for legs and a short attention span, my pup thoroughly enjoyed his Juniors classes and we were able to take away lots to apply at home. Going on to Social Walks and introducing Trailing has built his focus and self control, and our bond. Hopefully with the help of the recent Co-operative Care Workshop I’ll be able to help him become less of a fidget and calmer when interacting with vets, the groomer etc. We look forward to continuing our learning with Ellie who’s always patient and supportive.
