We enjoyed it so much!
"Ellie is great, she helped me with my older dog when he was a puppy and now I’m training again with a new puppy, she really understands how dogs brains work and how to overcome any issues. My puppy and I have improved so much doing the juniors course, we enjoy it so much we are booked for a third course!"

Say hello to Herbs!
Herbs is a delightful Border Terrier. He’s a sensitve soul but with a zest for life and those in it. His gaurdian came to me for support during his adolescence, we wanted to continue to build his confidence and resilience to life, while supporting calm behaviours in public and building socialisation skills.
Over the course of 1:1 support and enrollments on multiple group classes Herbs has come on amazingly. His body language cues and social skills are superb and, even so much so, he has built a warm friendship with one of my Reactivity Support graduates.
Here’s what Kerrie, Herb’s guardian, had to say:
"We’ve been going on Ellie’s Social Walks since she started them, it’s brilliant to be able to walk with dogs in an organised way and with someone who knows all the dogs giving us all confidence - Ellie explains what each dog is saying with their body language and what they are comfortable with.
A Juniors Course was really helpful for Herbs to be comfortable and able to do things with other dogs around.
Herbs loves Mantrailing too and it’s great that Ellie has qualified to run these sessions.
I can’t recommend Ellie highly enough, we’ve so enjoyed all the sessions that we’ve done, we’ve both learnt a lot. Herbs always loved meeting everybody, he could just be rather excitable living in a quiet village with no pavements, opportunities to meet other dogs was never ideal - now he’s come to learn good social skills and mirrors body language of other dogs which is great to watch and observe with Ellie interpreting!
And Ellie is, of course, Herbs’ favourite Auntie!!”
Q: Can I participate in the training sessions?
A: Absolutely! My training sessions involve you, the owner, as an active participant. I believe in empowering dog owners to be involved in the training process, as it strengthens the bond between you and your dog and promotes consistent communication.
Q: Do you offer any guarantees for the training outcomes?
A: Whilst I cannot guarantee specific results, my training programmes are designed to achieve positive changes. I can’t wait to give you the support and guidance you need, to help you and your dog succeed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How old should my dog be to join the classes?
A: I recommend enrolling puppies between the ages of 8 and 20 weeks in the packages. For the Juniors course I recommend between 5 and 24months. The other grouped classes they can be any age.
Q: Can my puppy participate if they haven't had all their vaccinations?
A: Yes, we follow strict hygiene protocols to ensure a safe environment for all puppies, as long as they have had their first set of vaccinations. However, please consult with your veterinarian regarding your puppy's vaccination status.
Q: What training methods do you use?
A: I use positive reinforcement techniques, focusing on rewarding desired behaviours rather than punishing unwanted ones. This approach ensures a safe and enjoyable learning environment for your dog and promotes long-term behavioural changes.
Q: Can you help with specific behavioural issues?
A: It depends what the issue is. Get in touch to discuss your dog’s needs and I’ll let you know whether I can help or I’ll be happy to refer you on to another trusted colleague.
Q: What should I bring to the classes?
A: Please bring your puppy on a comfortable harness and lead (standard flar collar & fixed length lead), and lots of tasty treats!
Q: How many sessions are included in the classes?
A: My Puppy Training Packages are a series of 5 or 6 sessions, to provide comprehensive training for your puppy. If you’ve gone for the grouped workshops these are weekly. If you’re going solo these will be as close to weekly as the diary allows. My Juniors course is 6 weeks, and Mantrailing and Social Clubs are run through the month but on a pay as you go basis.
