Highly Recommend!
Eleanor has helped us with Bumble from when we first realised we needed help. She is patient with the owners and dogs and always puts in that bit extra! Bumble adores her which makes everything easier. Highly recommended.

Say hello to Eric!
Eric, a lively Labradoodle, who had had 3 homes in under a year. He struggled with hard mouthing, jumping up, over-excited reactivity towards dogs, and demand barking.
Hi new owners wanted to give him the best start and help him enjoy life more, so they got in touch for some professional support and guidance.
Over the course of several months Eric received tailored training sessions that focused on regulation, confidence building, engagement and more. Through positive reinforcement techniques and consistent guidance, Eric improved in his behaviour and Steph learned effective communication strategies and gained a deeper understanding of Eric's needs.
I am pleased to say he is now thriving and living an adventurous and fulfilled life with his wonderful family.
Here’s what Steph, Eric’s guardian, had to say:
"Ellie is an incredible behaviourist that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone, no matter what their dog needs.
We have been working with her since we got our rescue labradoodle, Eric, a year ago. Eric was one when we got him and we were his third home as his behaviour (mouthing, jumping up, overly excited reactive to dogs and humans and demand barking to name a few) was too much for the families he has been with, the second of which only lasted two days.
Ellie has helped us understand his behaviour as a communication of an underlying need and how to respond to the need. He has done incredibly and is now able to be out and about in public interacting with dogs and humans calmly, he lets me know if he needs more space and we’ve even mastered the important post walk pub trip! We’re now working on helping him find dog friends to play with, something I wouldn’t have imagined him being able to do this early but has been possible due to the incredible support we’ve had from Ellie.”
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I participate in the training sessions?
A: Absolutely! My 1:1 training sessions involve you, the owner, as an active participant. I believe in empowering dog owners to be involved in the training process, as it deepens your understanding of your dog and why they do what they do, strengthens the bond between you and your dog, promotes consistent communication, and paves the way for lasting change and success when I’m not there.
Q: Do you offer any guarantees for the training outcomes?
A: Whilst I cannot guarantee specific results, my training programmes are designed to achieve positive changes with years of results. I can’t wait to give you and your dog the support and guidance you need, to help you and your dog succeed.
Q: What training methods do you use?
A: I use an Animal Centred Education approach and scientifically proven positive reinforcement techniques, focusing on setting them up for success, giving them the tools they need within themselves, and rewarding desired behaviours rather than punishing unwanted ones. This approach ensures a safe and enjoyable learning environment for you and your dog and promotes long-term behavioural changes.
Q: Can you help with specific behavioural issues?
A: It depends what the issue is. Get in touch to discuss your dog’s needs and I’ll let you know whether I can help or I’ll be happy to refer you on to another trusted colleague.
