Im so excited to have Ellen from the Urban Herder back! On August 8th & 9th 2026 This time we are doing a two day event, with day tickets possible, to bring you this two amazing workshops to help you unlock your Collies potential and fulfill their genetic drives, making them happier and more fulfilled dogs. Don't have a collie? No problem, all herding breeds welcome! GSD, Kelpies, Rotties and more. Day 1: Fixated to Focused Workshop Over the session, we’ll take your unfocused collie and turn them into an engaged Urban Herder. Using games and training techniques to build engagement, you’ll come away with an in-depth understanding of why your Collie fixates on things, how to switch that focus onto you, and how to harness their herding instincts. Day 2: Predatory play - to unlock foundations of herding and build connection with your dog. Providing outlets for natural, innate behaviours and giving more understanding to owners around predation. Establishing boundaries and self control to ensure a positive play experience for you both. Urban Herding - a game that uses balls instead of sheep to develop & unlock herding skills. The game will teach your dog to use traditional sheep herding cues and behaviours from flanking, waiting and outruns to control the movement of the ball. For those who came on the first workshop we Ellen can support progressions from before. In the industry? This is a perfect CPD opportunity, along with devecloping skills to better support clients.
